Event Creator, Race Director, Project Manager, Consultant
David Trimble has 20 years’ experience creating events that combine high level competition, art & design, cultural relevance, community involvement and inclusivity. He is best known for the Red Hook Criterium Championship Series and the Midnight Half, both of which became internationally renowned for their innovative format and competition.
David has partnered with international brands, Rockstar Games, Nike and Specialized and has collaborated with cultural institutions Pioneer Works, The New Museum and Sotheby’s. His events have been featured in The NY Times, 60 Minutes Sports, ESPN, The Wall Street Journal and La Gazzetta Dello Sport. The Red Hook Criterium grew to become an important cultural event which has been archived by the Smithsonian's National Museum of American History.
As a consultant David has managed projects for Nike, FIA Formula E, Trimble Architecture and Six Day Cycling Series.
David is based in New York City and Girona, Spain.
